Beaches in Mallorca

224 beaches

The coast of Mallorca changes completely from one stretch to the next. To the north-west, the Serra de Tramuntana drops into the sea and leaves coves wedged between cliffs, often pebbled and reached by mountain roads. The two great bays, north and south —Alcúdia and Palma— open out into long, shallow sands, with the town or the city immediately behind. And on the east coast, between Manacor and Santanyí, the shoreline becomes a string of small coves sheltered by pine woods.

That variety explains a good part of the island's housing market: nobody buys "on Mallorca", they buy on a kind of coast. Every beach on the list states the municipality it is in and leads to the homes for sale in that municipality.
