Cala Llombards

Cala Llombards is a sandy cove wedged between pine-covered cliffs, on the Santanyí coast. You see all of it from above: the sand at the head of the inlet, the turquoise water over it and the rock closing it on both sides.

A hundred and forty metres from end to end according to the OpenStreetMap outline, of sand and not rock, with pine-covered cliffs dropping to the water. It is an enclosed cove, the kind that shelters itself: that is why the water stays still and you can see the bottom from the edge. It is supervised and access is free.

It is a kilometre from Cala Santanyí as the crow flies, and three from the town of Santanyí; the village of es Llombards lies four kilometres inland.
