Municipality

Palma

Palma is the capital of Mallorca and its largest property market. It brings together the old town, the seafront and neighbourhoods with a character of their own, with a supply ranging from the city flat to the villa on the outskirts.

Palma preserves an extensive old town of medieval origin, presided over by Mallorca Cathedral (La Seu) beside the sea. The web of narrow streets, stately courtyards and stretches of city wall sits alongside the 19th and 20th century extensions.

Palma's is the broadest and most liquid market on the island, with a wide range of property types:

  • Flat in the old town or the ensanche.
  • Penthouse with terrace and views.
  • Villa in the residential areas on the outskirts.

It concentrates a good part of international demand and of rental investment.
