Cala Galdana
Cala Galdana is a sandy bay on the south coast of Menorca, in the municipality of Ferreries. White cliffs topped with pine woods and, at the head of the inlet, the beach with its resort behind it: hotels and buildings around the bay.
The outline recorded in OpenStreetMap measures four hundred and thirty metres from end to end, sandy and with free access. It is a shell-shaped beach, sheltered by two arms of cliff, with the hotels a few metres from the sand.
It is six and a half kilometres from the village of Ferreries and less than two, as the crow flies, from Macarella, which is the very opposite: a cove without a single building. Between the two lies the south coast of Menorca, the coast of white cliffs and pine woods.
