Cala Salada

Cala Salada is a cove on the coast of Sant Antoni de Portmany, north of the town. Turquoise water, reddish rock and pine woods above: a small, enclosed cove, the kind you can take in whole from above.

The outline recorded in OpenStreetMap measures less than ninety metres from end to end. It is short and wedged between two arms of rock, with the pine woods coming down to the edge. OpenStreetMap also records it as wheelchair accessible and with an adapted toilet.

It is three kilometres as the crow flies from the centre of Sant Antoni, on the same western coast as Cala Comte, eight and a half kilometres further south. It is the cove the town has close at hand.
